Product Name: Deadbeat Super Affiliate Reloaded
Product Owner: Dan Brock
Entry Price: $17
Upsells: $47, $97
What it does
Teaches you to build websites and videos that promote products to earn affiliate commissions easily
The owner of this website is Dan Brock, and apart from his website, he is active on YouTube and releases videos regularly.
I have to admit some of his videos are very entertaining and packed with ideas on how to make money quickly and easily. Some ideas are great while others are a bit sketchy and I am not sure how well they work out, especially for those who are just getting their feet wet with affiliate marketing. The videos reveal BIG picture ideas but lack the details of how to make it work or if they do, the overall guide seems over-simplified. Thus, I don’t have a clear sense of what to do next despite the feel-good emotions that some of these ideas may just work.
Airy ideas is how I describe it.
I ACTUALLY bought it
Given the tone of my overview above, you might have thought I walked away immediately.
On the contrary, I bought into the program and paid $17 for it. My rationale is that it is only a one-time $17, and since that was my first foray into affiliate marketing, it is an amount I can part with. As long as I learnt something useful, that $17 would be a good investment. Despite the abundance of freebies online, I am of the belief that one must have skin in the game to really benefit.
I wasn’t disappointed with the training videos provided in the course. There are actually 23 of them and video quality is great and Dan presents very naturally. However, I was truly taken aback because of the immediate upsell. Right after I parted with my $17, two other products were thrusted right at me, suggesting I buy them to optimize my learn-and-earn journey.
I hesitated and eventually I didn’t buy those. I felt cheated.
I like to provide a balanced review and these are what I consider in my opinion the pros and cons.
Pros: What I like
Pro 1: Great Videos – Only $17, you are getting way more than what you put in
There is no argument on this. Just the production cost alone would be way more than the $17. Looking at the course outline, these are very interesting topics for any aspiring internet marketer and you sure can learn a thing or two.

Pro 2: Dan Brock is pretty responsive
When it comes to emails and from the replies, I know he answers them himself, rather than outsourcing to someone who doesn’t care about the business and simply sends back automated replies. This is an effort, and highly commendable!
Cons: What I dislike
Con 1: Misleading impression of EASY MONEY
We are all here to learn how to harness the internet to make money online. While the nature of online business is such that you don’t have to work physically at a storefront or in an office, there is no such thing as easy money.
Passive income comes with hard work and has never been easy income.
I am quite sure Dan works hard to create his online business and I don’t have an issue with his choice of wardrobe options but the impression that he is earning an income easily while sleeping all he wants is PROBABLY ONLY TRUE for him and others who had already achieved a certain level of success. In addition, most entrepreneurs I know do not sleep or live like that even if they could. To put all these in perspective, all that facade (pyjamas and wads of cash lying around) is just a unique branding for Deadbeat Super Affiliate and while I find it engagingly fun, we shouldn’t be misled into thinking that making money online is THAT EASY.
If you do, you are going to be disappointed.
Con 2: Creating UPSELLS on FEAR FACTOR
In a previous post, I talked about upselling. My basic principle is that upsells are not necessarily bad. Most internet marketers I know do this at some point but the ones I respect and hope to emulate are those who CLEARLY define their product offerings up front, ensuring you know what you are paying for and there is no additional hidden cost to make it work or optimise.
Once you signed up for the entry product ($17), two immediate upsells are thrown at you even before you have time to digest the first one. It was a major turnoff for me.
This is not my preferred style. I would prefer that those additional products are shared separately so that people can research and invest further if they like it. If I market the upsells by using the fear factor of losing out on an optimised package, immediate pricing discounts etc, I think I may be able to make a few additional dollars here and there but what’s the long term future going to be like?
I am not optimistic about this approach
Despite the not-so-positive experience I had, my initial investment ($17) for the course was not a complete loss when I reviewed the videos. I learnt things from them and I think it is of great production quality. However, I don’t see myself recommending this product now to anyone for the reasons stated above.
What I Recommend
Well, I think that’s all I can say about this product. If you are interested to learn how to create a website and quality content for your online business, I would suggest you look into the training course at Wealthy Affiliate.
Remember. There is no shortcut to success. Behind every successful entrepreneur is all the hours and hours of building and continuous improvisation. Do that consistently and success will naturally find its way to you.
Let me know if this helps you, and if you have anything to add to this review. I love to hear from you.
